• Bug Fixes
• Meet your new guide: An interactive walkthrough introduces the calendar, filters, syncing, reminders, study tools, and announcements with animated highlights and step-by-step explanations.
• Learn once, revisit anytime: The tutorial appears on your first calendar visit after this update. Skip whenever you like or replay it from Settings.
• Less clutter, fewer clicks: “Remove participation” and “Remove completed” are now visible directly on the calendar. These reversible filters hide items without deleting anything in Halo.
• Return to the original announcements: Use “Default announcements” to open Halo’s original course announcement page in the same tab.
• Know where you are: Sidebar highlighting now follows the Calendar or Announcements view you’re using.
• Smoother navigation and accessibility: Improved transitions between views, keyboard-friendly tutorial controls, small-screen layouts, and reduced-motion support.

See every class. Every assignment. One calendar.

Halo Global Calendar upgrades the Halo experience by bringing assignments from all of your classes together into one clean, customizable calendar.

Instead of opening classes individually or bouncing between different pages just to figure out what’s due, Halo Global Calendar gives you a single place to see your workload, organize assignments, and stay ahead.

Built to make Halo better

Halo Global Calendar integrates directly into Halo so it feels like part of the website—not another separate productivity app.

Features:

Global Calendar — View assignments from all of your Halo classes together.

Automatic Class Syncing — Quickly pull your courses and assignments into the calendar.

Integrated Halo Experience — Open the Global Calendar directly from Halo's navigation.

Custom Themes — Personalize the appearance of Halo and your calendar.

Site-Wide Theme Support — Your selected theme can extend beyond the calendar to the rest of Halo.

Pinned Assignments — Keep important assignments visible so they don't get buried.

Cleaner Assignment Management — Quickly understand what is due and when.

Default Calendar Access — Easily switch back to Halo's original calendar whenever you want.

Persistent Preferences — Your selected experience stays consistent across Halo tabs and sessions.

Designed for Students — Built around making it easier to understand your workload at a glance.

Stop checking every class individually.

Whether you're trying to figure out what's due tonight, plan your week, or just make sure you haven't forgotten an assignment, Halo Global Calendar puts the information you need in one place.

Less clicking.

Less searching.

Less chance of missing something.

Made to feel native

Halo Global Calendar is designed to enhance the existing Halo interface rather than replace it completely. You can use the Global Calendar when you want the expanded experience and return to Halo's default calendar whenever you need it.

Simple. Fast. Familiar.

No complicated setup or completely new planner to learn. Install the extension, sync your classes, and continue using Halo—just with a much better calendar.
