Slow down, transpose and reduce vocals on YouTube and in the Slow Down practice app, and save videos and markers to your library

Slow down, transpose and loop any YouTube video while you learn it, right next to the video in Chrome's side panel. Save your markers and loops to your Slow Down library (slowdownpractice.com) and pick up where you left off on any device.

ON YOUTUBE • Change the speed from 25% to 200% without changing the pitch • Transpose up or down by semitones, and fine tune by cents • Turn the vocals down or bring them up, with a cleaner AI option that runs on your computer • Drop markers at the parts you're learning, then click two to loop between them • Save loops, and restart the loop, a marker or the whole video with one key • Keyboard shortcuts for play, restart, markers, loops and skipping • Works without an account. Sign in to save markers, loops, speed and practice time to your library

ON SLOW DOWN • Transpose and vocal control for the videos in your Slow Down library • Finds the BPM, key and chords of a song when you ask it to

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open a YouTube video
2. Click the Slow Down button in Chrome's toolbar to open the side panel
3. Slow it down, change the key, and loop the parts you're learning

PRIVACY • Speed, transpose and vocal processing all happen in your browser, and audio from YouTube never leaves your browser • The AI vocal models run on your computer, not in the cloud • On Slow Down, song analysis sends a short clip to the Slow Down server only when you ask for it, and the clip is deleted afterwards • Once you sign in, the extension sends Slow Down the YouTube video you have open and whatever you choose to save • No analytics, no tracking, and nothing sold or shared

Works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers like Edge, Brave and Arc.
