HistoryGuard users statistics

Block specific URLs from being tracked in your browser history.

Take full control of your browsing privacy. HistoryGuard lets you block specific URLs from being saved in Chrome’s history, so sensitive sites stay off the record — all while keeping your data private on your device.

🔒 Key Features

• Private URL List – Add sites you don’t want recorded in your history.
• RegExp Support – Create flexible exclusion rules with regular expressions.
• Import & Export – Back up your list or load rules from a file.
• Simple Interface – Manage everything in just a few clicks.
• Local Storage Only – Rules are stored on your device. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared.

🚀 How It Works

1. Install HistoryGuard from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Add URLs or patterns to your exclusion list.
3. Browse normally — visits to excluded sites will not appear in your history.

✅ Privacy & Permissions

• History permission → required only to prevent excluded sites from being logged in history.
• Storage permission → used only to save your custom exclusion rules locally.

HistoryGuard never collects or shares your browsing data. All processing happens entirely within your browser.
