About EduSquares Exam Lockdown
Exam companion for EduSquares online tests: blocks extra tabs and other extensions during a proctored exam. Inert otherwise.
Companion extension for schools and colleges running proctored online exams on the EduSquares learning platform. Students install it once; it does nothing at all until an EduSquares exam page starts an exam that requires it.
While an exam is running, it: • closes any newly opened tab and reports it to the exam page • detects a second display being connected • lists other enabled extensions so the exam page can require them to be turned off before the exam starts (they are re-enabled when the exam ends, where the browser permits)
It never collects, stores, or transmits any data to any server. All reporting happens locally to the exam page open in the same browser, which belongs to the student's own institution.

Data source
Covers every Chrome Web Store extension with at least 100 users, found through the store's public sitemap. User counts are read from public listing pages. The 10% most-used extensions are refreshed daily, the next 40% weekly and the next 40% monthly; the least-used 10% are not refreshed. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
