About No AI YouTube
Hides YouTube's AI features. Unofficial, not affiliated with YouTube. Local only.
No AI YouTube hides YouTube's AI features so you get back the plain, human YouTube you actually came for.
YouTube now injects AI-generated "video summaries" into your search results and under videos — auto-written blurbs that are often wrong, padded, or just noise. This extension removes them, along with the Gemini "Ask" button, so the page stays clean.
WHAT IT HIDES • AI-generated video summaries in search results • AI-generated video summaries on the watch page (in the description) • The Gemini "Ask" button under videos (when shown)
WHAT IT LEAVES ALONE • Your search results and recommendations • Video chapters and key moments • Captions, the description, and everything else you actually use
It's careful: AI summaries share the same containers as real features like chapters, so the extension targets only the AI parts and never hides your chapters or results.
ONE-CLICK ON/OFF Click the toolbar icon to toggle hiding on or off instantly — no reload needed.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No accounts, no sign-in • No tracking, no analytics, no ads • Makes zero network requests — nothing ever leaves your browser • The only permission is "storage", used solely to remember your on/off choice
Unofficial. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. "YouTube" is used only to describe the site this tool works on.

Data source
Covers every Chrome Web Store extension with at least 100 users, found through the store's public sitemap. User counts are read from public listing pages. The 10% most-used extensions are refreshed daily, the next 40% weekly and the next 40% monthly; the least-used 10% are not refreshed. Google displays rounded user counts (and caps the display at 10,000,000+), so small changes may not be visible. Rating counts above 1,000 are rounded (e.g. 1.6K).
