About Skol - Calm Semantic Themes
Calm by default. Clear when it matters.
Skol is a family of six semantic themes for JetBrains IDEs, designed for developers who spend long sessions in code, diffs, terminals, and reviews. The interface stays quiet while the states that matter remain easy to scan.

One color language across your whole IDE
• Teal communicates additions, success, and healthy states. • Blue communicates focus, modification, and active work. • Rose communicates deletion, failure, and critical states. • Amber communicates warnings, conflicts, and attention. • Violet communicates review, merge, and collaboration.
Syntax, project trees, selections, diagnostics, diffs, terminal colors, and recurring IDE surfaces all use that same language. Meaning never depends on color alone: outlines, gutters, icon shapes, and local emphasis reinforce the important states.

More than an editor color scheme
• Readable side-by-side diffs with quiet line fills and clear local cues. • Semantic terminal colors whose bright variants keep the same meaning. • Polished Island UI surfaces, project trees, controls, and notifications. • One compact Skol Appearance controller for theme, accent, project frame, matching editor colors, and optional Skol Rune icons.
• A reversible setup: native JetBrains icons remain the default and one action restores Skol's appearance defaults.
If Skol makes your editor easier to live in, a short Marketplace review helps other developers discover it.
