About Database Tools and SQL for WebStorm

The Database Tools and SQL plugin for WebStorm allows you to query, create, and manage databases and provides full SQL language support.

Starting from the 2024.3 release, the plugin is bundled into WebStorm. Issued plugin licenses will remain valid, so you'll still be able to use the plugin in versions older than 2024.3.

The plugin provides all the same features as DataGrip, the standalone JetBrains IDE for databases. Owners of an active DataGrip subscription can download the plugin for free. The plugin is also included in All Products Pack and Student Pack.

SQLite, Amazon Redshift, Amazon DynamoDB, IBM Db2, Sybase ASE, Exasol, Snowflake, HSQLDB, H2, Apache Derby, Greenplum, Apache Hive, Vertica, ClickHouse, Google BigQuery, CockroachDB

If the DBMS you use has a JDBC driver, you can connect to it via the Database tools and SQL plugin.
