Ybug installs statistics

Ybug turns vague, back-and-forth bug reports into clear GitHub issues. Your users and testers capture annotated screenshots or record a screen video right on your website, and Ybug files them as issues, complete with the screenshot, browser, OS, screen size, page URL, and JavaScript console logs attached. No more “it’s broken” emails or chasing down environment details, just open the issue and start fixing.

Capabilities

• Feedback as GitHub issues. Reports submitted through the Ybug widget are created as issues

in your repository, with the annotated screenshot or screen recording attached.

• Technical context included. Each issue carries the browser, OS, device, screen size, page

URL, and JavaScript console logs captured at the time of the report.

• Auto-push or manual push. Send every report to GitHub automatically, or triage feedback in

Ybug first and push only the ones you want.

• Autoclose on push. Optionally mark a report as closed in Ybug once it has been created in

GitHub.

• Linked back to Ybug. Each report keeps a link to its GitHub issue, so you can move between

the two.

Getting Started

Requirements:

Setup Process:

• Connect GitHub from your Ybug project’s Integrations and authorize access. • Select the repository where issues should be created. • Choose a default assignee for new issues. • Choose auto-push or manual push, and optionally enable Autoclose on push.
