About SigTech GitHub Integration
Enjoy full Git functionality in SigTech Platform v2 with the SigTech GitHub App. Supports Git features such as per-user commits, version control, and branching in SigTech workspaces. Seamlessly sync your organization's GitHub repository files with workspaces.
SigTech Platform v2 is fully integrated with GitHub, providing access to useful Git features as well as data protection via GitHub security.
You'll need the SigTech GitHub App to connect your GitHub account to your SigTech workspaces. When authenticating with the App, simply use the same methods you use to sign in to GitHub.
Note: To use SigTech GitHub integration, you need a GitHub organization or enterprise account. Invite all employees who'll be using SigTech to this account. If someone has multiple company email addresses, they should sign in to GitHub and SigTech with the same one.
Install the SigTech GitHub App
It's an easy one-time process to set up the SigTech GitHub App for your GitHub organization account:
• First, create a "dummy" GitHub repository. This ensures the App is restricted to only specified repositories. • We'll send an email link to your organization's SigTech account administrator. Open the link to go to the SigTech GitHub App. • In the GitHub App installation window, choose Only select repositories. From the drop-down menu, select the "dummy" repository recreated in the first step. • Follow the remaining steps in the GitHub App installation window to complete installation.
