About ACC Autofix
ACC Autofix closes the loop on AI-agent cost waste. Agent Cost Controller detects the patterns that quietly burn tokens in production agents — runaway loops, context that grows every turn, duplicate calls, premium models doing routine work — and puts a dollar amount on each. With Autofix installed, one click opens a pull request in your repo that fixes the root cause. You review, you merge. Your code never leaves GitHub: analysis runs in a throwaway sandbox, and ACC stores only usage numbers.
What it does
• Detects waste from telemetry — Agent Cost Controller (ACC) watches your production agents through a one-line SDK wrapper and flags runaway loops, growing context, oversized prompts, duplicate calls, call bursts, stuck retries, and overpriced models — each with a dollar amount attached. • Fixes the cause with a pull request — click Fix PR on any alert. Autofix reads the mapped repository in an ephemeral sandbox, locates the cause (e.g. a retry loop with no exit condition), makes the smallest possible change, and opens a PR with the fix, the telemetry evidence, and the estimated savings. • Stays out of your default branch — Autofix only ever creates a fresh acc/fix-* branch. The pull request is the only merge path. It never touches .github/, env files, or lockfiles.
Benefits
• Waste gone at the source: alerts tell you what's wrong; Autofix removes why — permanently. • Private by design: ACC stores token counts, cost, and one-way fingerprints — never prompts, outputs, or code. Repo analysis exists only inside the PR on your own repository. • Human in the loop: nothing merges without your review. Failed runs change nothing in your repo.
Getting started
Requirements: a free Agent Cost Controller account, an agent instrumented with the agent-cost-controller npm SDK, and this App installed on the repository that runs the agent.
Setup:
• Wrap your LLM client: withCostControl(new OpenAI(), { agentId, accKey }). • In the ACC dashboard, open the agent → GitHub Autofix → Connect GitHub and install this App on your agent's repo. • Pick the repository for the agent. • When an alert appears, click Fix PR — review and merge the pull request on GitHub.
